Gourmet Dining at Caribe

Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant, located at the top of a small picturesque sea cliff, features al fresco (open air) dining at it’s romantic best! The views are simply incredible and the food exquisite. Choose to dine with friends or enjoy a table for two.

All meal choices vary and there is always something new to enjoy. Lunch and snacks are served at the ocean level Tiki Bar just 15 meters from the beach. All meals are full service except our Friday Night Luau Pig Roast Buffet at the Tiki with a bonfire on the beach.

Seacliff – Stunning Caribbean Ocean Views

Along the sea cliff there are two buildings which contain our Seacliff accommodations; the West view and the North view. There are 48 Seacliff Rooms and 18 Seacliff Apartments. The apartment wing is at the north end of each building and include our Studio Apartments, end units, interior units and our One-Bedroom Apartments.

Seacliff One Bedroom Apartment

These spacious two room suites offer a 1183 sq. ft. floor plan. Each have a living room with sofa, two chairs, coffee table, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Separate bedroom with two queen size or one king size bed, tile bath with shower and patio or balcony.

Seacliff Hotel Room

All Seacliff rooms feature a large 619 sq. ft. floor plan with two queen size or one king size bed, two upholstered chairs, end table, dresser, refrigerator tile bath with shower and patio or balcony.

Seacliff Deluxe Studio

Seacliff Deluxe Studios feature large 748 sq. sf. and 759 sq. sf. floor plans; each with two queen size or one king size bed, sitting area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, tile bath with shower and patio or balcony.

Let our massage therapists put you into ultimate bliss with a massage right on the beach under a soaring tent. The sea breezes mix with the aromatherapy oils while the sound of lapping waves mesmerizes you. A couples massage lets you share the experience with your partner.

You can also choose to have your massage in the elevated Sky Palapa on the beach, a heavenly experience. And you can choose your time between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. – perhaps a sunset massage or a moonlight massage on the beach surrounded by flaming tiki torches.

Age requirement:

Hidden Beach is an adults-only resort. Guests must be 18 years of age.

Airport transfers:

We can arrange your transfer from the airport to the resort upon request when you book your vacation stay. The transfer is an additional charge. Direct driving time is 70 minutes.

Beach/pool waiter service:

Waiters deliver drink orders to guests lounging at the pool or on the beach from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They also deliver drinks to first floor terraces and to the cocktail tables in the pool river.

Cash:

Cash payments for extras and incidentals are not allowed at the resort. Instead, all charges for items on the What’s Extra list are added to your room bill and paid at departure. You will only need to have cash on hand to tip your massage therapist or tour guide; American currency is fine.

Check-in and check-out times:

Check in after 3 p.m. and check out before 12 noon.

Coffee makers:

There is a coffee maker in each suite; coffee and supplies are included.

Concierge:

There is a concierge to accommodate special requests and to help set up your offsite excursions.

Drinking water:

Water for drinking, cooking and ice cubes is purified. You may safely use the water in the bathroom for brushing your teeth. Bottled water is provided in the mini bar.

Electrical voltage:

You’ll be able to plug in all your electrical appliances/equipment, since the voltage and plugs are the same as in the U.S.A.

Fitness center:

Air conditioned and overlooking a garden. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Let our laundry service wash the clothes you arrived in so you can wear them home and have even less to pack. This is an extra fee.

Breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m.; lunch from 12:30-4 p.m.; and dinner from 5:30-10 p.m. in La Vista Restaurant. Room service is available any time of day or night free of charge.

Medical:

Tipping:

Continue reading »]]> Naturist’s come in many guises, the rich who only want the best down to the naturist who loves nothing more than relaxing in the back garden on a sunny day.

There are now cruise liners offering the naked experience sailing in the Caribbean, The Med or on rivers in France the list is endless. Others like to be in a 5 star resort such as the new Spice Lifestyle resort on the Canary Island of Lanzarote or one of the Breezes resorts in Jamaica where nudity comes natural while sipping your fancy cocktail served up by attentive staff on the beach in your hammock.

Other resorts are more easily afforded by the masses in places like Charco del Palo naturist village on Lanzarote or Monte Marina on Fuerteventura.

Some naturists just want a field with a chemical toilet and a tap and somewhere to pitch a tent to satisfy their need to get an all over tan.

There are even total naturist hotels where it is the norm to be naked most of the time and naturist holidays are not just for grown ups as many cater for families of all ages.

In Jamaica the Hedonism Resort and Breezes Resorts have what is known as Nude and Prude sides to the resorts so you have a choice of being nude or what naturists call the clothed people “Textile” on the prude side.

There naturist resorts in the UK where people have the option of camping, caravans or log cabins in countryside locations. One that springs to mind is Southleigh Manor near Newquay in Cornwall where all three of the above options are available. Long established naturist Clubs like BDOC offer naturist accommodation through the winter or other sites like Spielplatz have year long housing for naturist where people live all the time. Over in Florida Paradise Lakes have the usual holiday makers but also have condos and villas that are occupied year round.

Sun, sand and water are on most naturists mind when booking a holiday. Obviously the air and water temperature plays a big part for naturist to have fun. It is not much fun being nude on a beach when you are wet, the winds blowing and air temp is low enough to give you goose bumps. Often I have heard people say  “ I couldn’t go nude it’s not warm enough” but the same people will sit on a beach in a wet cossie where a naturist will dry much more quickly without the wet clingy material sticking to their skin.

There’s nothing more exhilarating than your first skinny dip of the season feeling that cool water tingling your skin refreshing you all over and making you thank God you’re alive.

I have even surfed and windsurfed while wearing nothing but a smile but most naturist are quite happy just splashing around in the edge of the water.

Most sailors and rowers have experienced the naked sensation at one time or another. Atlantic rowers never wear clothes when out at sea due to the salt getting into the creases and causing rubbing from clothes.

Long time naturist James Wharram who is famous for his boatbuilding skills on Polynesian catamarans is often shown sailing nude with his crew.

Other naked pastimes include kayaking in the nude and even skydiving in the nude though I have never tried the latter.

How many people who have a private swimming pool go in wearing a swim suit? Why? They wouldn’t dream of having a bath or shower whilst dressed would they? Is because they think someone might see them or is it they have been conditioned not expose themselves outside of the bedroom or bathroom? It certainly is strange.

Continue reading »]]> A naturist beach is somewhere whether an officially recognised legitimate naturist beach or one that has been used for years as an unofficial naturist beach that has been tolerated for years.

It is not actually against the law in general to be nude on a beach in Britain, what is against the law is someone acting in a way that is inappropriate and threatening behaviour. It is a very grey area of the law and indeed many judges and police officers interpret the law in many different ways. Some local bye laws

Prohibit nude sunbathing whilst others turn a blind eye.

One of the most famous official nude beaches is in Brighton just yards from passers by and the main promenade. Other naturist beaches are only accessible by the fit and sure footed and are usually at the very far end of some family beaches or by climbing down some very steep cliffs that usually involves quite a long walk. France on the other hand has more nude beaches than any other country as is Spain where it is not against the law to be nude on a beach. Obviously it is best to keep away from the main town beaches so as not to offend people who think the naked body is something to be ashamed of. But then man was supposed to be made in Gods image so have all the religious folk got it wrong? There are several good books outlining the best nude beaches here in Britain and rest of the world. Another good way is to go on to a Naturist Holiday website where the resorts are in the main either on a naturist beach or close to one. Good hunting but always err on the side of caution and try not to upset our fellow human beings even if they have old fashioned views.

Continue reading »]]> Imagine a resort where you can have the choice of a great suntan, one with strap marks and one without strap marks. There are certain resorts around the world where this is possible. Take the luxurious SuperClubs Resorts on the beautiful Caribbean island of Jamaica. Here you have four resorts with two very different sides. Lets call them Nude and Prude.

The two 5 star Grand Lido resorts have separate areas for nude sunbathing and swimming or for the prudes a side where swimming cossies are the order of the day. Both sides of the resorts have excellent accommodation, pools with bars serving anything from soft drinks, cocktails to Champaign. Both have food available without having to get dressed but most folk head to the classy on site restaurants in the evening in their best togs. Here you can sample French, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese cuisine washed down by your favorite tipple and it’s all included in the All Inclusive package. Once at the resorts money is not needed even tipping is banned.

The other two resorts Hedonism II and Hedonism III are for the young at heart where partying is the name of the game. Not recommended for the shrinking violets these resorts are known world wide for the “Anything goes” atmosphere. Again these two resorts have a “Nude or Prude” side. If you stay on the prude side you can always walk to the nude side but you will have to shed the cloth. For entertainment you can join in games like “Naked Twister”, “Best boobs and Buns” or go in for body painting. The resorts all have excellent entertainment, water sports, tennis, gyms and plenty to keep you in trim after feasting on the never ending supply of food and drink. Try “Jerk Chicken” “Dirty Banana” or many other Caribbean delights. Visit “Ricks Café” to watch the sunsets and cliff diving or climb “Dunns River Falls”.

If the Caribbean is too far how about the Canary Islands. Here there are hotels with a nude side and a prude side. Take the “Monte Marina” naturist apartment complex. Great apartments in a tropical garden opposite the “Marina Playa Hotel” both owned by the Dufffner family. The hotel is for textiles ie people of the cloth and Monte Marina is for those who like the Au Natural touch. Situated in south Fuerteventura atop one of the whites sandiest beaches anywhere.

On Lanzarote you have a naturist village with around 400 properties, 4 restaurants, a supermarket, boutique and beauty salon. Here you will see holiday makers strolling the streets in their birthday suits, locals dressed in suits going to work or work men in overalls. No one even notices what each other is wearing. If this is too public a display there are many private villas with pools and hot tubs where you can sunbathe in complete privacy.

It is 12 kilometres away from the shopping centre. Guests can take a swim in the indoor pool, relax and soak up the sun at the nudist terrace, with loungers provided, and there is a supermarket for any necessity. All rooms at the Torremar Natura offer a kitchen fitted with a fridge, oven, microwave and toaster and a washing machine. Guests may also watch television with special TV channels and enjoy the views from the balcony. Pets are allowed at the hotel.
